Streamer BJ Badger, who was rescued from the site of the Itaewon disaster with the help of a citizen, and saved others, expressed his feelings.

Yesterday (30th), through his Afreeca TV channel announcement, he said, "I pray for a speedy recovery for those who were injured in the Itaewon disaster, and I pray for the rest of those who have unfortunately passed away."

BJ Badger was conducting an outdoor broadcast in Itaewon-dong, Seoul on the 29th.

He entered the alley near the Hamilton Hotel, near the accident, and was trapped in a huge crowd and was unable to move, but with the help of a citizen, he was rescued over the railing of the building.

After taking a breather, he leaned against the edge of the railing, grabbed people's hands, and began to pull them up, and he and those who rescued him set out to the rescue.

Then, as people entered the railing, he continued to rescue, saying, "I'll save at least one more person," despite the shouts from those around him, "It's dangerous here too."

He is said to have saved about five or six civilians.

Meanwhile, the government has designated the week until the 5th of next month as a national mourning period, and has asked administrative and public organizations to refrain from events and gatherings.

At the same time, we requested that you do not indiscriminately disseminate video of the accident or personal information as it could damage the reputation of the deceased and lead to further damage.
