The Seoul Metropolitan Government will open a new U-turn connection ramp at the southern end of the Olympic Bridge from 12:00 noon on the 31st.

Using the new ramp, you can get off the Olympic Bridge and enter directly in the direction of Hanam on Olympic Road.

You can also enter Gangdong-daero by taking the U-turn ramp from the Olympic-daero Gimpo direction.

In the meantime, to enter the Hanam direction from the Olympic Bridge, you had to either go down to the southern intersection and make a U-turn, or enter the Olympic Road in the direction of Gimpo, go to the vicinity of Jamsil Bridge, and then make a U-turn.

When the U-turn ramp is opened, the city predicted that an average of 22,000 cars a day would use it.

As a result, the traffic volume at the southern end of the nearby Cheonho Bridge and Jamsil Bridge is expected to decrease by 20%.

As the traffic that was concentrated on Cheonho Bridge and Jamsil Bridge is distributed to Olympic Bridge, it is expected that the habitual traffic congestion in the area will be somewhat relieved.

At the end of December, the city is also planning to open the 'Hangaram-ro Olympic-daero Hanam-bound entrance ramp' that allows direct access from Hangaram-ro, Songpa-gu to Hanam.
