The first transgender character will soon appear in the game universe "Apex Legends", the hit title from Electronic Arts.

Previous seasons of the game developed by Respawn Entertainment have already featured gay, lesbian or bisexual characters, but the appearance of Catalyst remains a first.
To develop his character, the studio consulted trans people in order to be as authentic as possible.
The idea was to portray a character who is proud to be transgender and to make her identity explicit, given the short time devoted to her presentation in the series.
The next season of “Apex Legends” will be released on November 1.
