The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office's Anti-Corruption Investigation Division said that it had executed an arrest warrant issued by the court against Vice President Kim on charges of violating the Political Fund Act.



Vice-Chairman Kim, a former member of Seongnam City Council, served as the first spokesperson during the Gyeonggi-do Governor Lee Jae-myung, and is serving as the vice president of the Institute for Democracy after the presidential campaign.
