The police recently raided the Housewives Gambling Group, and it was found that the 'KakaoTalk error' played a role.

At that time, the police raid was also effective, but it is known that gamblers were not prepared for the crackdown because the KakaoTalk message reception was not smooth due to a fire at the SK Pangyo data center.

According to Yonhap News on the 19th, there were gamblers who assisted gambling in addition to gamblers who directly touched the hwatu cards in an empty commercial building on the 16th.

They divided the roles into 'warehouse', the general manager, 'Kongji', which lends gambling funds, and 'Bacchus', who serves drinks.

In addition to gamblers, there were also those who played the role of so-called 'stationaries' who watched the net in preparation for police crackdowns.

On this day too, when a man he had never met for the first time approached the gambling hall, he reported this to the group chat room (group Kakao Talk chat room) where gamblers gathered.

However, this text could not be delivered due to a KakaoTalk error that affected the whole country at the time.

Meanwhile, the police opened the door of the two-story commercial building and entered the gambling hall without the gamblers noticing it.

A police official who was dispatched to the scene said that the situation at the time was different from the previous crackdown on gambling establishments.

He said, "When I go out to crack down on a gambling hall, someone is blocking the door, so there were a lot of times when the detectives broke through the door by force. Everyone was sitting and concentrating on gambling."

He added, "I was able to arrest all the gambling offenders in one place without being able to escape because of an error in the Kakao chat room," he added.

The Jeonbuk Iksan Police Station arrested 30 people as current offenders for gambling on the so-called 'do-it-yourself' hwatu gambling, and confiscated 12 million won worth of gambling funds.

The ages of those arrested vary from those in their 50s to their 80s, and it is known that many of them are housewives.
