A 31-year-old man, former Mo, was arrested on suspicion of murdering a 20-year-old station worker who had been stalking in the women's restroom at Sindang Station on Seoul Subway Line 2.

Judge Kim Se-yong of the Seoul Central District Court issued an arrest warrant for Jeon on the evening of the 16th saying, "There is a risk of destroying evidence and running away."

Jeon appeared at the interrogation of the suspect before arrest on the afternoon of the same day and bowed his head without answering reporters' questions, such as, "Do you have anything to say to the victim and family?" "Why did you commit the crime?"

He was arrested on the 14th at around 9 pm on the charge of stalking the victim and killing him with a knife while waiting.

The victim was taken to hospital, but died.

Jeon was charged with stalking the victim, and while he was being tried without detention, it was investigated that he committed the crime a day before the sentencing of the first trial.

From November 2019 to October last year, he contacted me 350 times with the intention of 'meeting', and from November last year to February this year, he was accused of stalking by forcing or intimidating an agreement 20 times.

The police are considering applying the charge of retaliatory murder, which has a higher sentence, as it is believed that he committed the crime with a grudge against the victim who sued him.

Kim Gwang-ho, Commissioner of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, visited the site of Sindang Station on the same day and said, "We will hold a committee to disclose the suspect's identity as soon as possible."
