According to the Jeju Fire and Safety Headquarters on the 5th, a report was received that a detention pond in Dongil-ri, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do was flooded at around 1:47 pm yesterday, and a cattle tied up nearby was isolated.



A resident, Mo Kim, who witnessed the isolated cattle at the time, said, "I saw the water in the area where the cattle were, and I found the village head and the owner and informed them." dragged him out,” he said.



In fact, when Mr. Kim promptly informed the owner and visited the site again, the water was quickly filling up the reservoir due to the rain that poured without notice, and the cow barely had its nostrils out.



Fortunately, the cow was found to be healthy.



Yesterday, it rained more than 70mm per hour in Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo-si.



The amount of water that the fire department pumped out yesterday reached 293 tons by providing drainage support to western areas such as Daejeong-eup.



Prior to this, about 1:24 pm yesterday, about 10 cows were isolated at a cattle ranch in Sinpyeong-ri, Daejeong-eup, and the fire department responded to the report and took safety measures.
