The police summoned Mr. A, a former public interest reporter belonging to the Secretariat of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office, who first raised suspicions of 'corporate card misappropriation' of Mr.

According to a police official, the Gyeonggi Nambu Police Agency called Mr. A as a witness and started the investigation from this morning.

Person A is considered to be a key figure in this case along with Mr. Bae, the assistant to Mr. Kim Hye-kyung, who was investigated yesterday.

Earlier, when Rep. Lee Jae-myung was serving as Gyeonggi Governor, "At the time of the appointment of Kim Hye-kyung, a former Gyeonggi Provincial government official, Mr. Bae, who was in charge of the protocol, Mr. A ran personal errands such as receiving Kim's home mail, delivering food, and filling out the hospital questionnaire on behalf of Mr. Kim. have been doing,” he claimed.

In the process, suspicions were raised that the secretariat's corporate card was used for Kim's personal behalf.

This is the first time that the police have officially investigated Mr. A.

Prior to this, the police yesterday (3rd) called Bae, the key person in the suspicion, as a suspect and investigated.

It is known that the police have investigated whether the corporate card was misused against Bae, the specific place of use, and whether Mr. Kim was instructed.

As the police continue to investigate key officials ahead of the expiration of the statute of limitations, there is an observation that Kim Hye-kyung's summons is imminent.
