“We still don’t have data on the effectiveness of monkeypox vaccines or how many doses may be needed,” RIA Novosti quoted Ghebreyesus as saying at the briefing.
He noted that WHO strongly advises countries that use vaccines to share data on their effectiveness.
Ghebreyesus also said that WHO does not yet recommend mass vaccination against monkeypox.
