Citizens lifted the vehicle to rescue a 7-year-old child who was hit by a car at a crosswalk.

The child suffered serious injuries, but luckily, it was reported that there was no life-threatening injury.

The Gyeongnam Jinhae Police Station said yesterday (22nd) at around 6:35 pm in a crosswalk in Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, a 7-year-old group A was riding a bicycle and was hit by a morning car.

Group A fell and fell under the front bumper.

About 10 citizens saw this and ran towards the vehicle, grabbed the vehicle, lifted it, and moved it to the side.

Group A suffered a head injury and was taken to the hospital, but the police confirmed that his life was not affected.

The accident occurred while the morning car was passing a crosswalk trying to turn right.

Police believe that the vehicle did not pause in front of the crosswalk through the surrounding closed circuit (CC) TV.

It is said that B, the driver, in his 20s, made a statement to the police to the effect that he did not see the child crossing.

After investigating the circumstances of the accident, the police plan to file a case for violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning Traffic Accident Handling.
