A 10-year-old girl died this Saturday morning in Aubervilliers, in Seine-Saint-Denis, crushed by a tourist bus leaving a metro station. The driver's alcohol and drug screening turned out to be negative, according to the Bobigny public prosecutor's office.
440 pedestrians were killed in road accidents in France in 2023, down 10% compared to the previous year, the latest figures from Road Safety show. The child was crossing at a red light (for pedestrians), the driver did not see her, police sources said.
