More than 300 kilos of cocaine and 79 kilos of cannabis resin were seized by the judicial police of Val-de-Marne, this Tuesday in the town of Charenton-Le-Pont, said the parquet floor of Créteil.
The drugs were found in a vehicle parked in an underground car park, near the Bois de Vincennes.
The Val-de-Marne judicial police seized more than 300 kg of cocaine on Tuesday in Charenton-Le-Pont, south of Paris, the Créteil prosecutor's office said on Wednesday, confirming information from the Parisian.
The cocaine, as well as 79 kilos of cannabis resin, were found in a vehicle parked in an underground car park, near the Bois de Vincennes.
A "huge" amount
There has not yet been an arrest at this stage, underlines the prosecution.
Contacted by AFP, a source familiar with the matter observed that such a quantity of cocaine seized in Île-de-France, at the gates of the capital, was "enormous".
