When the 20th Fighter Wing (hereafter referred to as 20B), where the late Sergeant Ye-Ram Lee worked, also killed a female non-commissioned officer, the National Human Rights Commission of Korea immediately launched an investigation.

The Human Rights Commission said, "We have been notified of the death by the Ministry of National Defense," and "according to the decision of the military human rights protection officer, we immediately dispatched an investigator to check the situation, and informed the unit that it would participate in the investigation process, including an autopsy in the future."

Earlier today (19th) around 8:10 am, Sgt A, in his early 20s, was found dead in his 20s, just a year after he was commissioned at the dormitory for singles in the 20th brigade in Seosan, Chungcheongnam-do.

20 B is also the place where the late Lee Ye-ram worked.

The military human rights protection officer, launched on the 1st of this month, plays a role in investigating human rights violations and discriminatory acts and providing remedies such as corrective measures and policy recommendations.

If a soldier, etc., dies while serving, the Minister of Defense can notify him and intervene in the death case early, and he can visit a military base to investigate.
