“We see all the reasons why Russia will continue to cooperate in the near future,” said NASA head Bill Nelson, speaking before the Senate.

He noted that he draws such conclusions on the basis of the “professional relations” existing between the employees of the space programs of the two countries.

“I don’t see anything in the relationship between astronauts and cosmonauts ... that would affect our professional relationship,” RIA Novosti quotes Nelson.

As the head of NASA added, cooperation is maintained in orbit, in the training of astronauts and cosmonauts, as well as between specialists.

Earlier, the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, said that the decision on the date for the end of Russia's work on the International Space Station had been made, but Roscosmos was not obliged to report it publicly.
