local elections are one month away.

Transportation tax, driving tax, and education tax paid when fueling a car are all included in the local finances.

Property tax, inhabitant tax, the same.

The collected taxes are mainly used for welfare.

The maternity subsidy received after having a first child is 100,000 won in some places and 3.5 million won in others.

This difference is ultimately decided by the group heads elected in the local elections.

Based on this year's budget, the budget executed by the mayor of Seoul is 47.7 trillion won.

Gyeonggi Province Governor 39.7 trillion won, Busan Mayor 15.5 trillion won.

Let's look at it in hours.

Seongnam Mayor 3.9 trillion won, Goyang Mayor 3.7 trillion won, Changwon Mayor 3.6 trillion won.

A heavy-duty politician sometimes challenges the mayor position, but it did not lead to a run for office, but re-elected lawmakers Kim Byeong-wook and Kang Ki-yoon announced their intention to run for mayor of Seongnam and Changwon, respectively.

If a member of the National Assembly has a status as a constitutional institution, it means that the incumbent mayor has a strong sense of budget execution.

Let's see the governors.

The head of Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do, exceeds 1 trillion won.

County-level regions receive a subsidy tax that the state gives for balanced development, which is why governors deal with more budget than expected.

It was calculated as the average budget executed by the governors, 600 billion won.

The attention of the hot Jungkook and local elections has been relatively low due to the 'check-out'.

However, from a budget standpoint, the weight of local elections is very heavy.

The fate of a region can change depending on who is elected as its representative.

The SBS fact check team and the data journalism juggernaut team will continue to report continuously under the name of 'The Weight of Local Election'.
