14 days after the collapse and 11 days after the first missing person was recovered.

Rescuers said there was a layer of concrete debris spread over two floors, 27 and 28, around the location of the discovery.

Traces of the missing person have been found, but the actual rescue operation is expected to be difficult.

The police, who are investigating the cause of the collapse and responsibility for the accident, pointed to the demolition of the temporary pillar 'Dongbari' as the decisive cause of the collapse without sufficient structural calculations.

When pouring concrete in a high-rise building with more than 30 stories, there are guidelines for placing copper bars on the three floors below.

However, as a result of the police investigation, it was revealed that when the 39th floor was poured, the 38th and 37th floors below it had already been dismantled.

The police have secured a statement from the subcontractor that "the 37th and 38th floors were dismantled at the direction of the on-site director of Hyundai Industrial Development," and they plan to summon the construction officials who have already been booked in turn from today.
