Toyota offers an exclusive feature to owners of cars manufactured since 2018.

The Japanese car company Toyota has given an exclusive advantage to owners of cars manufactured in 2018 and subsequent years.

She said that she allowed the owners of those models that bear her brand to use the key "fob", which allows to start their vehicles remotely, according to the website "The Drive".

However, Toyota noted that the service is not free, noting that it costs $8 per month, or $80 annually.

The exclusive service is available for all cars manufactured after November 12, 2018.

Toyota added that it offers a free trial period for the service, but its monthly fee will be charged soon after.

A key fob allows drivers to start their car with just the press of a button, and although it is an option for almost all new cars, Toyota is looking to turn a profit from it.

Usually, luxury car brands provide such services in exchange for subscriptions. For example, BMW launched a subscription service in 2018 for drivers wishing to use Apple CarPlay, for an annual subscription of $300.

While Cadillac charges its customers $25 a month in exchange for allowing them to use hands-free driving mode, or what is known as a "Super Cruise."
