At a regular briefing today (10th), the Corona 19 vaccination response promotion team (promotional team) announced, "From 2022, we will provide retroactive compensation of 50 million won per person for the deceased for whom there is insufficient evidence for causality evaluation."



The promotion team said that there are currently 7 people who are eligible for compensation.



The promotion team has been providing medical expenses within 10 million won to critically ill patients who have not been recognized for the causality between the COVID-19 vaccine and the adverse reaction due to 'insufficient evidence' by the damage compensation committee. I have decided to increase it.



In addition, a new item was added to pay consolation money to the deceased for which the basis for causality evaluation was insufficient.



Meanwhile, the promotion team evaluated that among the OECD member countries, Korea's rate of recognition of compensation for damage caused by COVID-19 vaccination seems to be at a high level.




As a result of the survey conducted by the promotion group through diplomatic missions abroad, 23 countries among OECD member countries responded. , Denmark 1.3, Japan 0.7, Israel 0.1, and the United States 0.004.
