According to the Chinese corporation, the satellite will be used in the field of preventing marine disasters and eliminating their consequences, in order to monitor and protect the environment, as well as for the needs of agriculture and meteorology.
Earlier, China launched a remote sensing satellite of the planet "Guangmu" into Earth orbit to monitor changes in the Earth's ecosystem.
