Two men were arrested Tuesday by the services of the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI) after being spotted through exchanges on the encrypted Telegram messaging.

Several dozen weapons were found during the searches and a preliminary investigation was opened by the anti-terrorism prosecution. 

Two activists from the ultra-right movement who called for "violent actions" were arrested Tuesday, one in Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne) and the other in Gironde, then placed in police custody, said police and judicial sources.

The two men, spotted by exchanges on the encrypted Telegram messaging, were arrested by the services of the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI), the same sources added. 

During the searches carried out, "several dozen weapons of all kinds (long and short weapons, ammunition etc ...), as well as material entering into the composition of explosives" were discovered, continued the police source. .

The two activists exchanged to make "arms purchases", said the police source.

They belonged to a so-called "accelerationist" tendency, which aims to provoke or encourage clashes between communities, according to this source, and followers of survivalism.

The two men have, according to a source close to the file, no link with Rémy Daillet, a figure of the ultra-right imprisoned in the case of the kidnapping last spring of little Mia and, last month, for plans for attacks.
