<Reporter> This

is a promotional video for the virtual asset exchange that was posted on a famous Internet portal site in February of last year.

You will see a graph, that is, a chart, showing the rise and fall of virtual assets over time, and a notice telling you to read the terms and conditions before entering into a buy or sell contract.

It looks like a normal virtual asset exchange promotional video, but it is actually an internet gambling site.

You bet every 2 minutes on the rise or fall of the price of a virtual asset, and if the member gets it right, you get 1.9 times the bet, but if you get it wrong, you lose all the money.

[Kwon Chang-hyeon / Daegu Police Agency Violent Crime Investigation Division: In the past, betting was based on the theme of casinos and sports events, but recently, it has been changed to betting on exchange rates or virtual assets.]

21 out of 30 recruits from Daegu It was found that they were organized gang members of 14 gangs across the country, including Gyeongbuk, Gyeonggi, and Incheon.

From February to August of last year, 37,000 members alone waged a 50 billion won gambling game, and five operators and some gangsters are known to have earned more than 200 million won to 400 million won.

The Daegu Police Agency detained 10 people, including the operator and organized gangsters who acted as recruiters, and confiscated and preserved the proceeds of crimes of 1.92 billion won before prosecution.
