Yesterday (11th) around 6:30 pm on the road in front of the main gate of the Supreme Court in Seocho-dong, Seoul, a report was received that a man in his 50s was threatening with a gun, and the police were dispatched.
The Seocho Police Station in Seoul is considering whether to file a 55-year-old man named A on charges of special intimidation.
Mr. A, who was driving a taxi, is accused of threatening to shoot with a gun he kept in the vehicle during an argument because the delivery motorcycle stopped in front of him started late.
B, a man in his 20s, a delivery motorcycle driver, felt threatened and fled to the other side of the road and called 112.
In a phone call with SBS, Mr. B said, "As soon as the signal changed, he said 'bread' and sounded the clock.
The police dispatched Mr. A to the police station voluntarily and confiscated the gun.
However, the gun that A possessed and used for the threat was investigated as a self-defense sprayer containing tear gas in the form of a gun.
An official from the Seocho Police Station explained, "It has been confirmed as a self-defense spray with a spray distance of less than 4 meters.
The police are reviewing whether the self-defense spray used by Mr. A can be viewed as a weapon.
The Criminal Code stipulates that if you threaten someone with a dangerous object, you will be punished as a special intimidation crime.
B said, "When (A) took out the gun for the first time, while driving the motorcycle, he flinched and felt threatened. "At the time, I thought it was a real gun."
He then asked, "Please consider the situation at the time when you felt threatened, whether it was a fake gun or not."
Let's watch the video at the time of the urgent report.
