This heatwave episode, even if it is not extreme, will continue until Sunday, according to Météo France. In the rest of the country, the day begins under the clouds in the South-West. Beautiful clearings manage to develop over the morning. The sky remains very blue on a western half during the day, apart from the Breton point on the Channel coast where the clouds are more numerous. From the Massif Central to the Alps and Jura, some showers resist in the morning. In the afternoon, the sky is changeable. Thunderstorms started, but they were limited to the relief.
