I am now in the central passage of Gyeongpo Beach in Gangneung.

There is still about an hour and a half until the sun rises, so this place is still very dark.

Also, in the past year, there would have been some visitors to the sunrise one by one, but this year it is not visible at all, so it is a very quiet and quiet atmosphere.

On January 1 of last year, nearly 200,000 people gathered here exactly a year ago, but this year, as you can see, the beach is empty because the control line is lined up.

Gangneung City has left all the beaches in the area, urging that no sun-gatherers come this year.

The parking lot near the beach as well as the road leading to the beach are mobilized by public officials to block vehicle entry.

Most of the beaches on the east coast are in a similar situation, but Gangneung City is also operating 8 drones to prevent sneaking into the beach.

In addition, meals are banned at all restaurants in the area until 3 pm this afternoon, and a ban on meetings has been issued in saunas and saunas until the 2nd.

The first sunrise in 2021 is the fastest at 7:31 on Dokdo and the first sun rises around 7:40 in Gyeongpo, Gangneung.

Instead of visiting the beaches, the eastern coastal towns and villages urged them to enjoy the sunrise scene broadcast live on the Internet.
