Yesterday (4th), one employee of the Shinhan Life Insurance Call Center located in Sinsa-dong, Cheonan City, was confirmed, and an additional 20 people were confirmed today.
The city of Cheonan said that the measure is based on the assumption that most of the call center employees are distributed throughout the city and that they will have infants and toddlers.
As a result, 634 daycare centers in Cheonan have been closed indefinitely starting today.
Earlier, as the number of confirmed cases in Cheonan and Asan continued to increase and group infections occurred, the quarantine authorities decided to raise the distance between the regions to 1.5 at 6 pm this evening.
