The 2021 College Aptitude Test is the first test taken after the Corona 19 era.

Patients with'rhinitis and asthma' can now take the test without wearing a mask at the test center.

In order to prevent the COVID-19 outbreak, it is a rule that test takers wear masks.

However, complaints about the difficulty of breathing continued for test takers who had difficulty wearing masks for a long time due to rhinitis or asthma.

This is because wearing a mask can increase breathing activity or make the disease worse, which can be dangerous for respiratory patients.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Education recognized candidates who are difficult to wear masks for a long time as ``subjects of other test accommodations'' for the above reasons, and allowed them to take the test alone without wearing a mask at a separate test center on the day of the SAT.

However, you must wear a mask when you go outside the exam room, such as going to the bathroom.

In order to be recognized as an eligible candidate, examinees need to disclose the reason why it is difficult to wear a mask to the municipal office of education in the jurisdiction of the pre-SAT, and submit supporting documents such as a medical certificate from the head of a university hospital or a certificate from the principal.

This year's SAT will be held on Thursday, December 3rd

from 8:40 am to 5:40 pm at 1,352 test sites in 86 test districts nationwide. The number of candidates is 493,433, a decrease of 55,000 from last year.
