The Supreme Prosecutors' Office said in the 21st general election in April that 1,154 people, including 27 active-duty lawmakers, were handed over to trial on charges of violating the Public Office Election Act.

By affiliated party, the nation's power was the most with 11 members, with 9 Democrats, 1 Justice Party, 1 Open Democratic Party, and 5 independents.

Compared to the 33 people prosecuted at the time of the last 20th general election, the number of people was reduced by six, and the Supreme Prosecutors analyzed that it appears to be the effect of a reduced face-to-face election campaign due to the Corona 19 incident.
