now on, we will check the preparation status as we go north in turn. Next is Jindo, Jeollanam-do, where the typhoon will pass tomorrow (26th) night. How is the preparation going, let’s connect reporters.

Reporter Kim Sang-min, how is Jindo now?

This is a place called Seomang Port, located at the bottom of Jindo, the southernmost tip of the West Sea.

Typhoon No. 8,'Babi', is expected to pass 90km off the sea to the west of Jindo around this time of year. The rain is not coming yet, but the wind is getting stronger, so you can feel the typhoon is approaching.

Some fishing boats ended early.

There weren't many ships that had escaped, so I asked some of the shipowners and the coast guard and explained that some of them had gone up to the larger and safer Mokpo Port.

In particular, the path of this typhoon is similar to that of Lingling last year, but the century is expected to be similar or stronger than that of Typhoon Volaben, which caused great damage in 2012, so we are watching the situation in tension.

The shipowners have delayed the fishing schedule, and the county office is sending employees to 242 villages to explain the typhoon behavior and guide them to refrain from going out.

said, the typhoon is getting stronger and there is a place that will pass by the Jindo, so I think I need to prepare really well.

As we have to wait a bit more, there is a forecast that it will start raining from early morning or early morning tomorrow, and as it is expected that the typhoon will approach from Jindo around 8 pm tomorrow, the rain and wind will peak in the night time after 8 pm. Seems to be.

In particular, it seems that a strong wind of 200 km/h is blown instantaneously in Jeju and the west coast of Jeolla, which are in the right radius of the typhoon, but even if it exceeds 100 km/h, it is difficult to stand and walk properly, so thorough preparation is needed.
