A 50-year-old man blamed himself for the murder of his parents and ex-in-laws after going overnight to the gendarmerie in Pollestres, in the Pyrénées-Orientales. He was taken into police custody and the investigation was entrusted to the Perpignan judicial police. 

A 50-year-old man accused himself of the murder of his parents and ex-in-laws after going overnight to the gendarmerie in Pollestres, in the Pyrénées-Orientales, a police source told AFP on Monday. The man, whose motives are unknown, claimed to have committed this quadruple murder in Perpignan and Boulou, near the Spanish border, police said.

A quadruple murder

According to a source close to the investigation, his parents were indeed found deceased at their home, near the Saint-Pierre clinic in Perpignan, and his in-laws were discovered lifeless in Boulou. The suspect was taken into custody and the investigation was entrusted to the judicial police of Perpignan.
