The Korean Medical Council (Daejeon Association), which had been discussing policies with the government, such as expanding medical school capacity, drew a line that there was no return to the ward, emergency room, and intensive care unit on the 24th.

It has clarified its position to participate only in screening treatments limited to responding to Corona 19.

The previous day, as a result of discussions with the government, such as Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun, Minister of Health and Welfare Park Neung-hoo, and Director of the State Affairs Coordination Office, Koo Yun-cheol, the Daejeon Council decided to conduct corona 19 treatment and negotiations with the government to respond to the nationwide spread of Corona 19.

The Daejeon Association said, "The Emergency Response Committee will form a'Coona Volunteer Group of Majors' and, if there is a request from a hospital, local government, or public health center that received an official letter related to Corona 19 response, we will consult with the representative of the hospital major and dispatch manpower."

However, the Daejeon Association said, "In the agreement, the government did not withdraw its medical policy or express its intention to reconsider the entire medical policy. We will continue to act as a group without returning until the government's position changes.

"As a spokesperson for the Ministry of Welfare expects, we haven't even mentioned'return to the ward, emergency room, intensive care unit' other than responding to Corona 19 treatment," he said. "Through this expanded interpretation, the nation wants to contribute to the prevention of Corona 19 with a pure heart. "We express our great disappointment and regret to deceive the will of our major doctors."
