On the 15th, during the Liberation Day, a total of 7 out of 9,500 police officers who were forced into the rally in the Gwanghwamun area in Seoul were tested positive for Corona 19.

The National Police Agency announced today (24th) that 9,536 police officers (including doctors) were tested in full and that two more people were diagnosed over the weekend.

Both of them belong to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, and each is a police officer and one police officer.

All 7 confirmed cases (6 police officers and 1 doctor) belong to Seoul Metropolitan Government.

According to the guidelines of the health authorities, one person was admitted to the hospital and four were admitted to the life treatment center.

Two people who tested positive over the weekend are waiting to be admitted to a hospital or living treatment center while being isolated on their own or in a unit.

Members of the 6 units (2 people in 1 unit) with confirmed cases were self-quarantined on the 14th or 7th depending on whether or not they contacted the confirmed case.

An official from the National Police Agency said, "The other four members of the Seoul Metropolitan Government are waiting for the results in quarantine after retesting because the results were ambiguous."

This means that the number of final confirmed cases may increase up to 11 people.

9,536 police officers from 14 regional offices were employed in the Liberation Day rally.

Seven,182 people (75.3%) belong to the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

The National Police Agency said, "We will relocate the police who have been confirmed to be safe by following the quarantine regulations thoroughly."
