The government announced today (24th) that it is actively reviewing the'three steps of social distancing' in response to the nationwide spread of Corona 19.

Yoon Tae-ho, head of the Central Accident Control Headquarters, said at a briefing on Corona 19 response today, "The nationwide step 2 measures started yesterday, and there is a feeling that the effect of step 2 in the metropolitan area has been confirmed, but as the spread continues, the third step is also actively reviewed. I'm doing it."

He added, "However, the part to be upgraded to the third stage should be decided through discussion within the government."

He said, "The biggest measure in the third stage is the ban on gatherings of 10 or more people, but this applies to almost all areas of daily life," he said. "Would you like to make sure that meals are served only to less than 10 people in the large hall of the restaurant, or whether to take other measures, You have to prepare."

He also explained, "All medium-risk facilities must be closed, but medium-risk facilities are much more numerous than high-risk facilities, so enormous administrative manpower must be put into the inspection of quarantine measures."

Regarding the situation of the spread of Corona 19 in Korea, Yoon, head of quarantine, said, "Additional spread and spread of infections that began at the Gwanghwamun rally with some churches will be confirmed in earnest from this week." I asked.

He said, “Each local government is making efforts to strengthen quarantine, such as mandating the wearing of masks in 13 out of 17 provinces,” he said. “As masks are the basis of life defense, please follow the order to comply.”

In response to the rapid increase in corona19 patients, the government has announced that it will expand the life treatment center to 4,000 rooms, and this week will also expand 30 beds for critically ill patients.
