It is clarified that after adjusting for gender, body weight and age, researchers found that people with I blood group are 9-18% less likely to get COVID-19.

The study emphasizes that this pattern is characteristic of both positive and negative Rh factor.

In May, the head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA) Veronika Skvortsova said that the number of people with coronary virus infection was the highest in people with II blood type.
