This 30-year-old woman who works for a small business is pregnant with her first child earlier this year.

In the early days of pregnancy, I felt overwhelmed by the crowded subway every day, standing for an hour and going to work.

I applied to the company to ask if I could delay my commute to work, but was rejected because it was unprecedented.

revision of the Labor Standards Act in 2014, it was guaranteed to reduce working hours by two hours a day at the beginning and end of pregnancy, when the risk of miscarriage is high.

Business owners who are not allowed will be fined 5 million won or less.

I tried to file a complaint with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, but I didn't hear any responses.

Only 5.6% of companies have implemented a system to reduce working hours during pregnancy.

In most cases, the company does not have a system at all for reasons that cannot be utilized.
