In September of last year, a candidate for the Minister of Justice, former homeland, explained that her daughter was listed as the first author of a medical thesis after two weeks of experience in high school.

[Homeland / Former Minister (Reporter's Meeting in September of last year): Professor Young-pyo Jang has seen my interview, and my child has been doing amazingly hard (he said.) After attending the experiment, he made a great contribution to organizing the experiment results in English. It seems to have been evaluated.] At the

trial of Professor Kyung-Shim Chung, today, the daughters of former Minister Jo, who participated in the thesis of the first author, Dankook University School of Medicine, were present as witnesses.

Researcher Hyun Mo, who participated in the experiment at the time as the second author of the thesis, testified that "Joe did a two-week experience, but did not contribute to the thesis."

Professor Jang Young-pyo of Dankook University College of Medicine, where the allegations of 'intern's arms' were raised, testified that he had done his thesis and that he did not think it was appropriate to put Cho's daughter as the first author.

However, at the time, he thought that the role of Mr. Cho was greater than Mr. Hyun, who was the second author, and he was put in as the first author.

When the prosecution mentioned the guidelines for publishing medical papers and asked if Mr. Cho could not be the first author, he answered, "It may be, but there is no saying not to do it."

The court gave several attentions to Professor Jang, who explains Cho's role, asking whether he is the defendant's lawyer.

Prof. Kyung-Shim Jeong, the lawyer's side, was told that there was no problem in the 'experience activity confirmation' submitted to the entrance examination, and whether the author of the thesis, which was not even in the public case, was not the core of the trial.

He also insisted that the first author's listing was understandable in view of the standards of ethical research at the time.
