A grenade exploded inside a ship during a naval fire drill in a naval decapitator.
The naval operations command says a grenade exploded and six wounded in a naval high speed boat that was training at sea at about 1 pm on the 3rd.
The High Speed Vessel is a decapitating high speed vessel (PKM · 130t) belonging to the Navy 3rd Fleet.
Six crew members were reportedly injured, including two serious injuries and four minor injuries.
Among the injured, executives were reported to be included, and serious wounds were transferred to the Pusan National University Center for Trauma, and the rest were transferred to other private hospitals.
The incident was reported to have occurred after a gun fire and grenade burst inside the ship.
Navy officials said, "It was an accident during normal naval mandatory training," he said. "Injured people are being transported to a nearby hospital after first aid, and serious injuries are conscious."
"We will stop all marine training and investigate the cause of the accident and take countermeasures against recurrence."
The decapitating high speed boat has about 30 crew members, usually 25 to 28 people, and about 30 people boarded the training.
