Kim Shin-yeol (81), the only resident of Dokdo, returned to Dokdo.

According to Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk, Kim went to Dokdo on the 19th of this month, 21 months after he left Dokdo in November 2017.

Kim became the only resident of Dokdo after her husband Kim Seong-do, who was famous for 'Dokdo Keeper', died in October last year.

He has lived in his older daughter's house in Uljin.

I tried to enter Dokdo before the 15th day of Liberation Day, but I could not enter until 19th because of bad weather.

Kim accompanied Dokdo with her eldest daughter, Kyung-hwa Kim (49), son-in-law Cho, Byung-guk (57), grandson, and granddaughter.

He was known to have shed tears at his husband's photograph after arriving at a hostel in Dokdo Island.

Kim moved to Dokdo and settled in Dokdo with her husband in 1991.

The couple left Dokdo and moved to Ulleungdo's son-in-law's house after the fishermen's house built by the typhoon broke in 2003.

Although there was no phone in Seodo, it was inconvenient, but for the first time in March 2006, a regular phone was opened.

In the same year, Kim and his wife voted for the absentee polling place in Dokdo and voted in Dokdo during the 19th presidential election in May 2017.

Ulleung-gun has renovated its Dokdo resident lodging by spending 1.5 billion won from July to May this year, including the government budget.

I changed my electric and telecommunication facilities and tried to repair the inside and outside.

Ulleung-gun is considering a plan to designate Dokdo Lee, formerly Kim Sung-do, as Kim Shin-yeol, the only resident of Dokdo.

If you are chaired, you will receive a board allowance.

An official from the Ulleung-eup office said, "I think Kim, the only resident of Dokdo, should take the lead."

After Kim Sung-do's death last year, there were inquiries about wanting to live in Dokdo.

An official from Ulleung-gun said, "Family who went with Kim will come out soon, and another family will come back again."
