"It started like any other day but it ended in a much more tragic way." Thus begins the request of Jermimah Moylan , a young widow who does not intend to let her husband's death interrupt her dream of having a family with him .

"From the day we met at school, at 17, Sebastian talked about starting a family, " says Jermimah, who lives in Australia , to the British newspaper The Daily Mail . The couple, who married in 2015, planned to start looking for a baby next year and had even gone to the doctor to check that they were in good health. But on August 14, Sebastian, 27, took his own life .

Despite the pain that her husband's death caused her, Jermimah did not let the duel cloud her thoughts and made sure that her plans to start a family did not die with him. The same night Sebastian committed suicide began a legal petition to extract sperm . That same day he managed to secure a sample, which is now refrigerated.

A shared dream

"He would have been the most dedicated father and his future daughter or son will know how incredible he was and will grow as if he were in the house, " the widow explained. While Jermimah knows that being a single mother will be difficult, she feels compelled to start a family with Sebastian and fulfill her shared dream .

Now, after keeping the sample, he faces the second obstacle of his path to motherhood: financing artificial insemination . Therefore, the young woman has started a campaign in Gofundme, with the aim of raising 50,000 Australian dollars (30,586 euros) and to date, is close to its goal, since it has raised more than 40,000 (24,469 euros).

With a cost of 15,000 Australian dollars every attempt and more legal battles ahead, his twin brother has created a GoFundMe page to ease the widow's financial burden .

As Jermimah has explained to the media, the money will also be used to pay for her husband's funeral , lawyers, the legal costs of the case, a urologist, as well as for the family home mortgage.
