An Asiana aircraft landing at Gwangju Airport was damaged.

According to Asiana Airlines, the wheels of the Asiana OZ8703 aircraft were damaged at the end of the runway when they landed at Gimpo Airport on the runway at about 10:30 am on the 9th.

There were 111 passengers aboard the plane, but it was reported that no injuries occurred.

Passengers got off the plane on the runway and moved to the terminal by a bus for transport.
Asiana Airlines estimates that the front wheel of the aircraft is caught in a military aircraft landing gear (an armed hook) and is damaged.

Gwangju Airport runway is managed by Air Force 1st Fighter Wing and is used with civil aircraft.

As the aircraft was set on the runway, all 29 flights departing and arriving at Gwangju Airport were canceled.

Passengers who visited Gwangju Airport to use flights suffered inconveniences such as moving to Muan airport in Jeonnam.

Asiana Airlines will first take temporary measures to allow aircraft to move from the runway to the maintenance site.

An Asiana Airlines official said, "It was expected that there would be no major shock to the passengers because of the accident," but said, "If you have any uncomfortable passengers, you will get a hospital treatment."
