Yecheon residents have been rebelliously demanding that all the members of the military be withdrawn as the lawmakers of Yecheon-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, who was beheaded for defamation during the training abroad, filed a lawsuit against the court that the disciplinary action was unfair.

The Yecheon County Council of Gyeongbuk Province expelled two former lawmakers, Park Jong-cheol and former lawmaker Kwon Do-seong, who were raped by guards on Feb. 1.

The council said it is discussing the collective action demanding the reopening of the army in the near future.
