Former FT Island member Jong-Hoon sued a woman who allegedly raped her on suspicion of threats.
Seongdong Police Station in Seoul said it has started an investigation on May 5 and said it is currently coordinating the investigation with Choi.
Choi has been suspected of raping a woman named A in March 2012 after she fed GHB called 'Mulpong'.
Choi said that Choi Jong-hoon seems to be intimidating in recent events, saying that he has met with the woman in the US but has not raped her.
Mr. Choi has been charged with sharing the sexually explicit material with SNS group chat room and illegally filming and distributing her body.
Seongdong Police Station will call Mr. A as soon as he finishes the complainant investigation, and will check the facts.
