A police officer was hit by a taxi driver because he was going back a long way.
Chungbuk Jincheon Police Department said it is investigating 58-year-old A, who is suspected of obstructing driver abuse and public service execution under the specific crime punishment laws.
According to the police, A is accused of slapping a 65-year-old taxi driver B on his way to Gwanghyeon-myeon, Jincheon about 4:20 pm on July 24 with his fist and hand.
When the assault began, Mr. B set the car on the road, and Mr. A swung his fist for about six minutes after the car stopped.
Mr. B, who is injured in his head, is taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Mr. B said, "It is not the direction to go to Cheongju, which is the destination of our guests."
A driver who wondered what a taxi stopped on the road called at 112, and when the police arrived at the scene, Mr. A was headed over to the head of the police officer.
The police arrested Mr. A who was working.
Mr. A, who was drunk, was reported to have said, "I turned away and got angry."
Police are investigating the incident against A.
