    Mia• Why doesn't SVT show all Sweden's matches, not even on play. No games until Wednesday except those today

    Answer from project manager Ulf Nilsson:

    "It's expensive to bring the TV signal home from Canada. Therefore, we have selected the most interesting matches that are played at good times for Swedish viewers plus Sweden's possible playoff matches. Very few viewers watch curling broadcasts in the middle of the night.

    We do not normally broadcast all Swedish matches during a World Cup, but when the women had their championship at home, we chose to invest a little extra. It was the first time we broadcast all of Sweden's games in a World Cup."

    The men's World Cup last year and 2018 took place in Las Vegas, USA.

    The women's last World Curling Championships in the United States took place in Bismarck in 2001.
