The Swedish cross-country national team has had several dropouts during the spring when the star trio Linn Svahn, Frida Karlsson and Maja Dahlqvist chose to invest on their own.

Now Expressen can tell you that a new issue divides the national team.

The management has chosen not to have a single camp at high altitude.

Then Jonna Sundling and Emma Ribom choose to go to Italy themselves and train in July.

- They see an opportunity to develop by being at the height.

They think they get an effect from it.

Ideally, they would have thought it would have been good to be in Val Senales in October as usual, says coach Magnus Ingesson to Expressen.

According to the management, the decision was made to nob camp at high altitude based on the wishes of the skiers and not because of finances.

- The riders themselves have expressed that they do not want to be away so much and for so long.

Now a long period without championships awaits at high altitude - and we see that we can get good quality without going to altitude.

It costs a lot in both energy and money, says national team manager Anders Byström to the newspaper.
