The Algerian national team hit a date with its Tunisian counterpart in the final of the Arab Football Cup, currently being held in Qatar, after defeating the Qatar national team 2-1, in the semi-finals of the competition.

The Algerian team advanced through Jamal Ben Al-Omari (59), before Mohammed Muntari equalized for the Qatari team in the third minute of the calculated time instead of lost for the second half.

In the 15th minute of stoppage time, Youssef Belaili scored the winning goal for the Algerian national team, after he followed a penalty kick that he had taken and Qatar goalkeeper Saad Al-Sheeb saved.

The Tunisian team qualified for the final after defeating its Egyptian counterpart with a clean goal.
