Qatar calls for a fair and balanced transition to low-carbon energy. This came during the Gas Exporting Countries Forum in Algeria.

The extraordinary ministerial meeting was held in preparation for the seventh summit of heads of state and government of the forum. Algeria is hosting for the second time, and will host the summit tomorrow. The forum includes 12 countries: Algeria, Egypt, Bolivia, Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, the Emirates and Venezuela.
