Quarter-finals France - Poland: kick-off at 2:30 p.m.
No time to breathe. After having chained two huge fights for the qualifier, against Russia first (3-1), against Brazil then (3-2), the Blues find another great nation of volleyball this afternoon in the quarter-finals. Poland, therefore, double reigning world champion (2014, 2018) and its mammoths of servers, with whom the France team has had a great big rivalry for ten years now. Poland and its captain Michal Kubiak who deprived us of the bronze during the last Euro in France in 2019 and with whom Earvin Ngapeth maintains relations which are always tense and passionate. It remains to be seen whether the Blues, rinsed after the group stages, will have the chest to go for a historic qualifier in the semi-finals of the Games.
