It was five years since AIK's ladies played in the Allsvenskan.
Ahead of the season, the Stockholm team has now agreed with the American hill Hannah Davison.
The 23-year-old, who most recently came from the Chicago Red Stars in the USA, is signing a contract that extends over the 2022 season.
- I am happy and honored to have signed for AIK.
It is an incredibly nice opportunity for me to continue my career abroad, and with such a good and historic club, says Davison.
AIK Football's manager Anne Mäkinen is positive about the new acquisition.
She believes that Davison with his speed in his feet, strength in the air and the melee game is a player who will complement the back line in a good way.
- The mentioned physical qualities combined with her fine leadership qualities make us see Hannah as a very important piece of the puzzle in our team building, says Anne Mäkinen.
