Swedish international Kristoffer Olsson has been hospitalized and placed on respiratory assistance, his Danish club, FC Midtjylland, announced on Tuesday. Olsson, whose exact diagnosis has not been communicated, is still unconscious.

After starting at Arsenal, the native of Norrköping (eastern Sweden) played at FCM and AIK (Stockholm) then at Krasnodar and Anderlecht before joining the FCM again last summer. In a post on social networks, the Swedish football federation sent him wishes for a speedy recovery.
