Tottenham's Son Heung-min won the FIFA Puskas Award for the best goal in the world.

Son Heung-min became the protagonist of the Puskas Award at the'The Best FIFA Awards 2020' held in Switzerland at the dawn of today (18th).

Son Heung-min ran 70m against Burnley in December last year, beat six defenders and shook the net, creating excitement.

With this wonder goal, Son Heung-min swept the Premier League's best goal award from various media such as the BBC, and won the world's most prestigious Puskas Award.

Son Heung-min's Puskas Award is the first Korean player to win the Puskas Prize, and is the second Asian player ever since Malaysia's Sub-Brie in 2016, who gave a wild free kick in 2016.

In a non-face-to-face interview after winning the award, Son Heung-min said, "I received the award and I felt the best. When I got the ball, I started to dive because there was no place to pass. It was amazing and it was a beautiful goal."

Tottenham's club delivered news of the award on social media in real time, and coach Mourinho said, "I was watching the FIFA awards ceremony while going home. Son Heung-min received Puskas, and it's the best goal, so it's a natural result."

Heung-min Son, who marked a new milestone in Korean football by winning the Puskas Prize, is aiming for the 100th goal in Tottenham's career against Leicester City this weekend.
